On April 14, 2026, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) officially launched the National Employment Exchange Platform (https://vieclam.gov.vn/), marking a major step in digitalising the labour market. The platform connects over 53 million workers with nearly 1 million businesses nationwide, aiming to create a modern, transparent, and efficient employment landscape.
The launching ceremony welcomed distinguished guests, including Minister of Home Affairs Do Thanh Binh, Chair of the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (KOCHAM) Ko Tae Yeon, Vice-Chair of the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) Le Hang, and Member of the Board of Members and Chief Executive Officer of VNPT Huynh Quang Liem. Representing EuroCham Vietnam at the launch was Vice-chair Nguyen Hai Minh.
Developed as part of national digital transformation policies, the platform integrates data across central and local levels, ensuring secure and real-time information. It enables job seekers to create profiles, search, and apply for jobs online, while helping employers reduce recruitment costs and access a wider talent pool.
Stakeholders, including government agencies, businesses, and organisations like EuroCham and VASEP, view the platform as a breakthrough tool to improve labour matching, address skill shortages, and enhance workforce quality. However, its effectiveness will depend on data reliability, active participation, and integration with training systems.
EuroCham will continue to bridge the Vietnamese government with the dynamic European business community in Vietnam to support development of the country’s labour market and sustainable economic and social development.
