The European Union (EU) has taken a significant step forward in its commitment to sustainable development by adopting the “European Anti-Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)” on May 16^th 2023. The EUDR regulates a range of agricultural products to ensure they are not linked to deforestation, especially including wood, coffee, and rubber which are three of Vietnam’s main export industries.
