EuroCham Called for Stronger International Cooperation & Integrated Planning in Water Governance 

On 22 October, EuroCham Vietnam’s Green Growth Sector Committee (GGSC), in collaboration with Water:hub South-East Asia, hosted the 10th edition of the “water:dinner” in Ho Chi Minh City. The event welcomed more than 40 participants, including key figures from government agencies, the private sector, and international organisations to discuss pressing water-related challenges.  

Marking ten years since its inception, this milestone edition of the event underscored a decade of partnership and ongoing commitment to policy dialogue and knowledge exchange in the water sector. The “water:dinner”served served as a platform to align efforts on the following topics:  

  • Sustainable water governance 
  • Resilient infrastructure, and  
  • Public-private collaboration 

In his remarks, Mr. Dinh Nguyen, Co-Chair of GGSC, addressed the growing urgency of water security considering recent weather events. He called for stronger international cooperation and integrated planning to enhance Vietnam’s green growth agenda.  

Through proactive engagement, resource mobilisation, and long-term vision, EuroCham’s Green Growth Sector Committee will continue to drive progress and contribute to shaping a water-secure and climate-resilient future for Vietnam.
