On 22 October 22, the Vietwater 2025 International Conference, themed “Sustainable Water Governance in the New Era“, took place as part of the Vietwater 2025 Expo & Forum in Ho Chi Minh City. The conference was organised by the Southeast Asian Institute for Water Resources and Environment, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and Informa Markets Vietnam.
Representing EuroCham’s Green Growth Sector Committee (GGSC), Vice-Chair Mr. Frank Pogade delivered a speech on “Innovative approaches to urban drainage & flood mitigation“. Mr. Steven Petit, a member of the GGSC’s Blue-Green Cities & Industries Working Group, also delivered a keynote on “Design with Nature: Scalable Blue-Green Solutions for Vietnam’s Water Resilience“. Both representatives shared valuable insights on the challenges and opportunities of Blue-Green initiatives, stressing the need for sustainable water management solutions.
