On 25 July 2025, the Ministry of Industry and Trade hosted the Logistics Forum 2025 under the theme “Logistics Solutions for a Sustainable and Stable Supply Chain” in Ho Chi Minh City. Attracting over 250 participants, the forum aimed to analyse supply chain trends, explore multimodal transport solutions, and improve Vietnamese businesses’ adaptability in a volatile global environment.
The forum welcomed distinguished delegates, including:
- Ms. Dinh Thi Bao Linh, Deputy Director of Vietnam Trade and Industry Information Center (MOIT)
- Mr. Zhang Cunwei – General Director, Viet Thong Co., Ltd. (China)
- Mr. Nguyễn Duy Toàn – Director, Ratraco Transport Solutions Co., Ltd.
- Mr. Phan Thanh Hà – Director, Southern Branch, THILOGI
- Mr. Đinh Xuân Khánh – Director, Tan Cang Logistics Center
- Mr. Yvan Gomel – Representative, Dunkerque Port (France)
Representing EuroCham, Juergen Weber, Chairman of the Transportation & Logistics Sector Committee (TLSC), participated as a speaker. He shared suggestions from foreign-invested enterprises to help enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam’s logistic ecosystem. The suggestions include:
- Enhance infrastructure,
- Streamline administrative procedure,
- Reduce logistics costs,
- Improve service quality,
- Promote green logistics, and
- Strengthen human resources
Mr. Weber also highlighted Vietnam’s strong potential to become a regional logistics hub. To support this vision, he proposed key recommendations including integrated infrastructure development, expansion of public–private partnerships, regulatory simplification, and transparent investment incentives. With targeted actions in these areas, Vietnam is well-positioned to attract and retain high-quality investment, establishing itself as a dynamic, sustainable, and globally competitive logistics centre.
Advocating for infrastructure development and implementation of a clear Industry Sustainability Roadmap are TLSC’s priority focus for 2025. EuroCham remains committed to accompany Vietnam’s sustainable growth journey.
