EuroCham Business Awards 2025 – Guidelines for Direct Member Nominations

EuroCham’s Business Awards is back for our 2025 edition! More than a tradition, this is our way to spotlight the excellence of our business community.

If you are an EuroCham direct member, please refer to this year’s award categories, competition format, and nomination guidelines below.

Award categories

Business Awards 2025 champion pioneers across three categories. In each category, there are two sub-categories: Large Enterprise (LE) and Small-to-Medium Enterprise (SME). One winner from each sub-category will be selected.

EuroCham Business Awards Categories 2025:

  1. Green Business of the Year: Celebrating businesses that demonstrate outstanding commitment to environmental sustainability and integrating green practices into their core operations.
  2. Business Innovation: Recognising businesses redefining their industries in Vietnam through creativity, adaptability, and impactful innovation. 
  3. Community Impact (NEW): Spotlighting businesses whose Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives make a real difference – creating lasting value for people and communities across Vietnam. 

Eligibility

EuroCham Business Awards are open exclusively to current EuroCham members, including EuroCham Direct members and members from our nine affiliated business associations. 

To qualify for Large Enterprise sub-category, a business must meet at least one of these conditions:  

  • Has more than 500 employees in Vietnam; or 
  • More than 1,000 employees globally; or 
  • Has operations in more than 5 countries 

Businesses who do not meet any of the conditions above will qualify for SME sub-category.  

How to enter

EuroCham Direct members: EuroCham Direct Members (those who are direct members of EuroCham, not members of one of the nine EuroCham-affiliated European Business Association) should:

Members of EuroCham’s Associated Business Associations: Members of EuroCham’s nine affiliated European Business Associations should follow these guidelines: 

Competition format

Similar to 2024, EuroCham Business Awards 2025 follows a Champions’ League format. 

Nomination by Business Associations: Each of EuroCham’s nine affiliated Business Association will nominate companies from their members for each category in EuroCham’s Business Awards 2025. The rule for nomination allowance is as follows: 

  • Business Associations with fewer than 100 members*: Can nominate up to 1 company per sub-category. 
  • Business Associations with 100+ members*: Can nominate up to 2 companies per sub-category. 
  • Business Associations with 200+ members*: Can nominate up to 3 companies per sub-category. 

*Based on each BA’s membership size recorded in December 2024.

Nomination from EuroCham Direct Members: EuroCham direct members will submit their nominations directly via EuroCham. EuroCham will nominate up to 3 nominees per sub-category. In case there are more than 3 nominations in any sub-category from EuroCham Direct Members, a Board of Director panel will assess and choose the finalists.  

Judging process

Judging Panel Evaluation for Green Business of the Year and Business Innovation Awards:  

  • The pool of candidates will include nominations from business associations, adhering to the nomination limits mentioned above, plus up to 3 additional nominations per sub-category from EuroCham. 
  • Our judging panel will thoroughly review all the companies in this pool, evaluating them based on the award criteria (stated in the nomination forms).
  • For each criterion, each nominee will receive a score of 1-5 (with 5 indicating best performance) from our judges. The final score of each company will be the average of total scores given by all judges.  
  • For each award category, one Large Enterprise (LE) with the highest final score among LEs, and one SME with the highest final score among SMEs will be named winners.
  • The final winners of each award will be announced at the EuroCham Gala Dinner on 30 October in Ho Chi Minh City

Voting process for Community Impact Award: 

  • The pool of candidates will include nominations from business associations, adhering to the nomination limits mentioned above, plus up to 3 additional nominations per sub-category from EuroCham. 
  • The winners will be selected by an open public vote. The voting link, accompanied by nominees’ submission information will be shared via EuroCham’s communication channels.
  • Voting period: 29 Sep – 13 Oct 2025 (tentative)
  • The final winners will be announced at the EuroCham Gala Dinner on 30 October in Ho Chi Minh City
