Schulz Noack Bärwinkel (SNB) is a German law firm firstly established in 1929 in Hamburg. Nowadays the firm maintains three further offices in Rostock, Shanghai and Ho Chi Minh City. By way of cooperation, SNB has also been present in Jakarta since October 2013. SNB is one of the pioneers in Asian related legal services. In Germany, we have been advising Asian clients since 1980s. In 1994, SNB was the first German law firm having an office in Shanghai, where we have been advising German and European enterprises in doing business and implementing projects in China.
Our Ho Chi Minh City branch is qualified for a comprehensive legal practice pursuant to our license granted by the Vietnamese Ministry of Justice. The branch is headed by our partner Dr. Jörg-Michael Scheil, who has over 20 years of experiences of legal advising for German and European clients in China and Asia.
Dr. Scheil and our attorney-at-law Mr. Leif D. Schneider are both permitted to practice as foreign attorneys-at-law in Vietnam and committed to act as the link between local practice and international standards. Dr. Scheil is also acting as a Foreign Arbitrator of Pacific International Arbitration Center (PIAC) based in Ho Chi Minh City. Our clients will furthermore be supported and served by experienced Vietnamese attorneys-at-law and legal assistants, as well as other knowledgeable support staff.
