Central Retail is the leading multi-format, multi-category retailing platform in Thailand, Vietnam and Italy. The Group’s business is organized into three operating segments namely Fashion, Hardline, and Food. Each segment hosts a portfolio of retail banners under which Central Retail sells a wide range of merchandise, and each of its retail banners is distinguished based on a variety of characteristics, including store network, store format, merchandise offerings, branding strategy and market positioning. Our retail stores had a total net selling space of approximately 2,998,656 sqm and our retail malls had a total net leasable space of 516,823 sqm, reaching all the major regions of Thailand, Vietnam and Italy.
Central Retail in Vietnam was established in 2011 with only Fashion business. After nine years, we have become the largest multi-format foreign retailer in Vietnam with 243 stores, 33 malls across the country with 1,080,000 total square meter of retail space across 37 out of 63 provinces and cities, provides employment and career opportunities for nearly 15,000 employees in the operations in Vietnam(*). Our three key growth drivers including Food, Non-Food and Property provide customers with a diverse portfolio of retail brands, including GO! Malls, GO! Markets, Big C, Nguyen Kim, Lan Chi Mart, Supersports, LookKool, Kubo, HomeMart, Hello Beauty, and Robins Department Stores.
