VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) is a USA registered 501-c3 public charitable organization, licensed as an international non-governmental organization in Vietnam. Founded in 2006, VCF’s mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged, marginalized and underserved children and empower their mothers by providing opportunities for growth and improvement through health and education programs. The work of VCF touches the lives of millions of Vietnamese in 63 provinces every year.

VCF’s grassroots health and medical programs include Heartbeat Vietnam which funds surgeries and other treatment fees for children with congenital heart defects, Rural Outreach Clinics to screen children in remote areas, as well as Grassroots Assistance projects which provide psycho-social and nutrition support for pediatric patients with special needs. VCF initiatives include prevention and treatment for poor children with Retinopathy of Prematurity, and Grace’s Cookies to raise funds for Heartbeat Vietnam by selling handmade cookies.
Medical capacity building programs include Critical Response and Survive to Thrive which assist healthcare workers and medical facilities with advanced training and equipment for emergency and neonatal care. We also install Clean Water systems for healthcare centers and schools.
In education, the national Brighter Path program and Brighter Path Girls’ Clubs empower ethnic minority girls through full high school and university scholarships, mentoring, soft skills training and weekly clubs in rural high schools. Heartbeat Vietnam also gives its beneficiary heart children Heartbeat Vietnam Scholarships to remain in school.
Since 2020, VCF has implemented major National Emergency Response campaigns through disaster relief activities in Central Vietnam and COVID-19 emergency efforts to bring ventilators and critical equipment to hospitals in need.
