Bachelor Professional CCI Waste Water Treatment, Bachelor Professional CCI Potable Water Treatment at IHK Wiesbaden, Germany
With more than 30 Years of experience on environmental business and after managing municipal water and wastewater utility systems in Germany, I started my international career with BAMAG Mena LLC in Cairo, Egypt in 2009.
During my initial engagement with the BAMAG´s management team, I took an active part in re-structuring and improving the Execution Division, which consisted of the following Departments: project management, procurement, logistics and operation services.
After my promotion to the director of the execution Department in 2010 one of my main focuses was the full responsible management of the company´s execution business with 165 employee, more than 150 million € contract value and treatment plants with a daily capacity from 12.000m³ up to 600.000m³.
From November 2014 till March 2018 I joined Passavant Energy & Environment GmbH, Frankfurt Germany, to develop the O&M and after sales business worldwide and support the Project execution in South East Europe and Middle East.
After restructuring the O&M and aftersales Department at Passavant Frankfurt, I was promoted to the position of Director of Project Management Office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
In Parallel with the Completion of EPC Contract and Handing Over, I setup our office as Business Unit for the upcoming and booming market in South East Asia and was promoted to the Country Director Vietnam and SEA for business development at the Passavant Business Unit Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
In April 2018, Uwe Dechert founded DEDE Consulting Services Ltd. Co. in Ho Chi Minh City, as a 100% foreign owned Company under Vietnamese law for Management Consulting Services, engineering Services, Integrated engineering and project management services for water supply and sanitation works turnkey projects.
DEDECS is covering a wide range of water-related services for water supply for municipal and private investors.
Further services comprise:
O&M Training, installation and construction supervision, Design and implementation of Package solutions, spare parts.
