COLAS RAIL, COLAS’ dedicated railway subsidiary, offers all the necessary skills, from the engineering and design to construction, delivery and commissioning; for conventional to high-speed lines, tramways and metros.

COLAS RAIL plays an active role in developing projects in the following areas: Permanent Way (slab track and ballasted), Electrification (sub-stations, overhead lines), Communications and SCADA, Electrical and Power systems and also system integration of transport systems.

Vietnam

In 2015, COLAS RAIL opened its subsidiary in Hanoi.

The 2nd March 2016, the Hanoi Metropolitan Railway Management Board (MRB) awarded the E&M package (lot 7) of Hanoi Metro Line 3 to COLAS RAIL.

Then on the 11th October 2016, COLAS RAIL signed the track works package (lot 8) of Hanoi metro Line 3 contract.

And lately the 17 th January 2017, COLAS RAIL won the system works contract of Hanoi metro Line 3, in a consortium with Alstom and Thales.

This third success in less than 12 months allows Colas Rail to increase to more than € 100 million its order book.

COLAS RAIL’s ambition is to become a first choice partner of the Vietnamese authorities to build the transport infrastructure that helps people in their daily’s commuting.
