Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation is a non-profit working to eradicate human trafficking in Vietnam. To attain this goal, Blue Dragon applies a holistic approach that tackles this crime on all fronts. We believe that ending human trafficking is possible. To achieve this, we tackle this crime on every front.

Blue Dragon rescues children and adults who have been deceived and became trapped in modern slavery across southeast Asia and within Vietnam. We conduct outreach work on the streets every night to assist street children and youth, and rescue children and adults who
have been trafficked for labour or sexual exploitation across the region.

Blue Dragon applies multiple activities that, implemented simultaneously, weave safety nets to keep at-risk communities protected from exploitation and disadvantage. Our work ranges from direct individual support all the way to community-wide prevention and legal representation.

In addition to helping vulnerable people reach safety, Blue Dragon provides them with everything they need to recover, heal, and thrive. This includes emergency accommodation, nutrition, psychological and medical care, as well as access to education, training and jobs, and long-term psycho-social support.

Blue Dragon’s uniqueness resides in our all-encompassing strategy, which we call ‘the whole stream’. In addition to working downstream to
provide much-needed rescue and relief assistance at the individual level, we also work upstream to address the causes of the threats the communities we serve face. Everything Blue Dragon learns through our direct support work feeds into our far-reaching human trafficking prevention activities, and our legal advocacy for laws and policies that protect all children and adults in Vietnam from modern slavery and the factors that drive it.
