On April 25, 2024, EuroCham and PwC Vietnam teamed up to host a business luncheon titled “CSRD and Its Impacts on Businesses in Vietnam.” Designed to deepen attendees’ understanding of CSRD and its influence on the Vietnamese market, the event drew 45 participants from various industries.

The event kicked off with EuroCham’s Board Member Giando Zappia’s opening remarks and introduction, followed by an in-depth presentation from PwC’s Mr. Cuong Luong on CSRD’s essentials and what it means for local businesses.

Then we had the panel discussion, moderated by Mr. Sérgio Pereira Da Silva – Vice Chairman of EuroCham Green Growth Sector Committee. The panel discussion featured Mr. Nam Nguyen – ESG Leader and Financial Service Assurance Leader at PwC Vietnam, Ms. Emily Nguyen – Sustainability Manager Asia & Vietnam at De Heus Vietnam and Vice Chairwoman of Eurocham Food, Agri & Aqua Sector Committee and Mr. Le Anh – Sustainability Director at DUYTAN Recycling. Our passionate and seasoned panelists led the way, helping us dive deep into the practical implementation of CSRD and other related regulations as well.
