On 16 October 2025, EuroCham Vietnam hosted representatives from the American, Korean, and Japanese business chambers at its Ho Chi Minh City office for a coordination meeting aimed at enhancing collaboration and aligning advocacy priorities.
EuroCham was represented by Vice-Chair in charge of Advocacy Mr. Jean-Jacques Bouflet, Executive Director Ms. Delphine Rousselet, and Advocacy Manager Ms. Diep Truong. Joining the discussion were Mr. Tae Rim Eum and Mr. Joon Woo Jeon from KOCHAM, Mr. Travis Mitchell and Ms. Lily Nguyen from AmCham, and Mr. Hidehisa Iwamoto, Mr. Motohisa Nakagawa, and Mr. Masaya Ueda from JCCH.
The four chambers exchanged updates on administrative and regulatory challenges faced by foreign enterprises, including immigration procedures, work permit implementation, tax policies, and land-use fee regulations; as well as explored ways to jointly engage with Vietnamese authorities to promote clearer, more efficient business processes.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to maintain regular coordination, support Vietnam’s ongoing economic reforms, and foster a transparent, predictable, and sustainable business environment through continued information-sharing and joint advocacy efforts.
