Since Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed Vietnam’s determination and demonstrated the country’s commitment to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 at the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow (COP26) in 2021, corporations all over Vietnam have been making a lot of joint efforts, developing policies and doing specific actions focusing on sustainability goals. However, it remains a concern when we think about the cost.
At this Workshop titled “BEYOND SOLAR TO REACH YOUR DECARBONISATION TARGET” of EuroCham and BECIS, we would like to invite you to come and join us to hear from the seasoned experts in Renewable Energy Industry. They shall share about different energy solutions and methods by which businesses can progress their sustainability plans meanwhile reducing the cost.

Thuan ThanosHead of Commercial of BECISThanos holds Executive MBA with more than 4 years in Renewable Energy Industry and over 12 years management position for MNC company. He contributed over 200MWp RTS pipeline and delivered >30 MWp operating in C&I sector.

Ugo Siegfried BernalDirector of Commercial Solutions of BECISUgo is the Director of Commercial Solutions at BECIS, leading the development of integrated energy services for industrial and commercial customers in Asia. When Ugo joined BECIS in 2017, he was managing the corporate strategic development of the solar industry in the ASEAN region.
Prior to transitioning to the renewable energy field, Ugo had acquired a decade-long experience in the up-stream oil and gas sector, where he managed on- and off-shore operations, patent development, and account management for important industry players, such as Shlumberger, Welltec, Total, and Shell in countries in Europe and West Africa.With a passion for energy and emerging business models, Ugo contributes to building efficient, agile and sustainable businesses. He holds MS Degrees from INSA Lyon and ESCP Europe.
Originally from France, Ugo is currently based in Bangkok, Thailand.

Expertise in Pre-Feasibility analysis with right product positioning for modernization and energy saving by reducing carbon Footprint, Pay-back period calculations, process Heating & Cooling Load Calculations.
