From 2 – 6 June 2025, the European Business Organisation Worldwide Network (EBOWN) hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Brussels. European business organisations in third markets gathered to discuss common issues affecting European companies abroad and exchanged best practices.
This year, the EBOWN meeting gathered more than 60 delegates from 59 European business organisations (EBO). Representing EuroCham Vietnam was Ms. Delphine Rousselet – Executive Director.
Gathering many stakeholders, ranging from Commissioners’ cabinets to Directorate Generals (DG), and leaders of European business organisations worldwide, the meetings fostered strengthened collaboration between the EU Commission and business organisations. Key topics discussed included:
- The EU competitive compass,
- Global Gateway,
- EU Business Forums,
- Critical raw materials,
- The EU’s multilateral financial framework,
- The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM),
- Trade tariffs,
- And other trade and investment policies.
