On 23 September 2024, EuroCham Vietnam hosted a delegation from AICEP Portugal Global at our Ho Chi Minh City office. Led by Vice-Chairman in charge of Advocacy, Jean-Jacques Bouflet, the meeting welcomed Mr. Ricardo Arroja, Chairman of AICEP Portugal Global, alongside Portuguese officials.
Discussions centred on enhancing Vietnam-Portugal trade relations, focusing on the investment environment, opportunities in key sectors, and the implementation of the EVFTA. Both sides acknowledged the challenges and promising potential for Portuguese businesses in Vietnam. EuroCham emphasised its commitment to fostering partnerships and facilitating investment to strengthen ties between Portuguese companies and local stakeholders.
