On 14 August 2024, EuroCham Vietnam welcomed representatives from the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AmCham), the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh City (JCCH), and the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (KoCham) to our office for a cooperative dialogue.
Since the initial discussion on 9 May 2024, this meeting is a continuance of the collaboration amongst the four chambers of commerce to join efforts in amplifying our collective advocacy work. The chambers came together to share the latest challenges that their member companies are facing, as well as their industry-specific interests.
The topics covered were diverse, ranging from manufacturing plants relocations, solar power regulations, to the Direct Purchase Power Agreement (DPPA) Decree, and data/digital technology laws. Next steps were also discussed to develop a shared mechanism between the four chambers for reporting key issues and discussing recommendations to address them.
Present at the meeting were leaders from the four chambers, including:
- Representatives from EuroCham:
- Jean-Jacques Bouflet, Vice-Chairman in charge of Advocacy
- Delphine Rousselet, Executive Director
