On Wednesday, 10 April, a EuroCham delegation, led by Executive Director Delphine Rousselet, visited Cam Ranh to engage in high-level discussions with Khanh Hoa province’s authorities. The delegation met with Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hai Ninh and Chairman of the Khanh Hoa People’s Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan.

During the meeting, the provincial leadership emphasized Khanh Hoa’s commitment to green transformation and expressed strong interest in attracting European investment in smart cities, renewable energy (including offshore wind power), logistics, tourism, seaports, and more. They encouraged EuroCham to facilitate connections between European businesses and potential investment opportunities in Khanh Hoa, suggesting collaboration between foreign businesses and large Vietnamese investors for projects within the province.
Ms. Rousselet highlighted EuroCham’s role as a bridge for European-Vietnamese cooperation, emphasizing the chamber’s ability to connect Khanh Hoa with targeted European investments in key sectors and position itself as a knowledge hub for expertise and technology transfer. She also stressed the benefits of Khanh Hoa’s participation in EuroCham’s Green Economy Forum & Exhibition (GEFE) 2024, including strategic connections, showcasing sustainability leadership, and acquiring best practices.
Both parties agreed to collaborate on investment promotion activities, with further discussions to be held.
Khanh Hoa province holds significant strategic potential for development due to its assets, including Cam Ranh International Airport, deep-water seaports, and proximity to international maritime routes. The province has been earmarked for development through Resolution No. 09, aiming to transform it into a central city by 2030.
