On 23 September 2026, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held a meeting to discuss the consolidation and reporting of issues faced by businesses, as well as the effectiveness of responses from relevant ministries and agencies. Hosted by VCCI’s Deputy Secretary-General and Head of the Legal Department Dau Anh Tuan and VCCI Deputy Head of Legal Department Pham Ngoc Thach, the meeting welcomed representatives of industry associations and foreign business associations.
The meeting highlighted developments in the mechanisms for receiving, consolidating, and addressing business concerns. Rather than relying primarily on individual conferences and dialogue sessions, business recommendations are increasingly being incorporated into regular monitoring mechanisms, with clearer accountability for the relevant authorities in handling and resolving outstanding issues.
Representing EuroCham, EuroCham Vice-Chair Minh Nguyen commended VCCI’s efforts in listening to and consolidating feedback from the business community. He noted that several key recommendations raised by EuroCham had received attention and consideration from relevant ministries and agencies.
Mr. Minh Nguyen also proposed several mechanisms to help VCCI and relevant ministries and agencies address business concerns more efficiently and promptly. These included strengthening coordination among stakeholders and enhancing follow-up mechanisms to facilitate timely and effective resolution of issues raised by the business community.
EuroCham will continue to work closely with VCCI, government agencies and our Sector Committees to consolidate members’ feedback, facilitate constructive dialogue, and support the follow-up of issues affecting the European business community in Viet Nam.
