On 22 October 2026, EuroCham Vietnam and our South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk joined the France–Vietnam Dialogue on Intellectual Property Rights Enforcement in Ho Chi Minh City, alongside representatives of the French Union of Manufacturers (UNIFAB) and the French IP Office (INPI).
Participants exchanged updates on Vietnam’s IP enforcement landscape, with a particular focus on the prevention and handling of counterfeit goods. Discussions covered the roles and powers of Vietnam’s enforcement authorities, the progress and effectiveness of enforcement efforts, and challenges in addressing IP infringements.
The meeting also identified priorities for capacity-building activities and facilitated the exchange of best practices between France and Vietnam.
Through its IPR SC and the South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk, EuroCham supports knowledge-sharing and engagement on IP-related issues, helping businesses navigate the IP landscape and strengthening awareness of intellectual property protection in Vietnam.
