Leap4Growth: a growing interest in Vietnam

EuroCham Vietnam and the South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk, led by South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk Project Manager Benoit Tardy, welcomed last week a Leap4Growth delegation to discuss Vietnam’s business environment and intellectual property protection, after a pre-departure online training early October.

Leap4Growth is an EU-funded project supporting innovative SMEs from Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Latvia in exploring Vietnam and the Greater Bay Area via Hong Kong. The delegation included representatives from Norrköping Science Park, Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol, the Embassy of Estonia in Singapore, and Latvian and Estonian SMEs.

The meeting focused on EuroCham’s advocacy mission, presenting the work of our Sector Committees, as well as other key initiatives: the Whitebook 2026, Q3 2026 Business Confidence Index, and GEFE (GROWTH Economic Forum and Exhibition) 2027. The team also shared updates on IP protection and enforcement.

Through their complementary activities, EuroCham and the Helpdesk continue to support European SMEs as they prepare to enter and grow in Vietnam.
