On 18 August 2026, EuroCham Vietnam welcomed H.E. Mr. Boštjan Malovrh, Ambassador of Slovenia to Vietnam and Ms. Tinkara Godec, Trade and Economic Affairs Attaché, for a discussion on strengthening Slovenia’s growing institutional and business engagement in Vietnam.
Representing EuroCham, Executive Director Delphine Rousselet, GEFE Project Manager Pauline Dutertre, Head of Hanoi office cum External Relations Manager Van Nguyen, and Project Manager cum IP Business Advisor Benoît Tardy exchanged views with Ambassador Malovrh on how EuroCham can help connect Slovenian companies with its business network in Vietnam, including through business introductions and greater engagement of Slovenian businesses in the Vietnamese market.
The two sides also looked ahead to a planned engagement between Ho Chi Minh City and the city of Koper in October 2026, an important milestone for strengthening bilateral ties, as well as Slovenia’s involvement in EuroCham’s flagship GEFE 2027.
The exchange also covered potential cooperation in innovation, technology, and intellectual property rights (IPR). Benoît Tardy presented relevant aspects of EuroCham’s IPR activities and discussed areas where EuroCham’s expertise and network could support further engagement with Slovenian stakeholders and businesses.
Through business introductions, participation in key EuroCham initiatives and continued institutional dialogue, both sides aim to turn growing Slovenia–Vietnam engagement into concrete opportunities for cooperation and long-term business partnerships.
