On 4 November 2025, EuroCham Vietnam attended the EU–Vietnam Matchmaking Event, hosted by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP).
As part of the program, the session “Doing Business in Vietnam: Insights, Experiences, and Practical Pathways for EU Clusters and SMEs” provided European clusters and SMEs with practical guidance on engaging with the Vietnamese market, focusing on trade procedures, local business culture, partnership models, and available support mechanisms.
Representing EuroCham Vietnam, Head of Hanoi Office cum External Relations Manager Ms. Van Nguyen and South-East Asia IP SME Help Desk Business Advisor Mr. Benoît Tardy shared key insights on Vietnam market:
- Ms. Van Nguyen introduced participants to EuroCham and shared insights on how European SMEs can effectively enter and operate in the Vietnamese market.
- Mr. Benoît Tardy briefed participants on intellectual property protection and upcoming legal developments in Vietnam, including the country’s new specialised IP Courts.
Other notable speakers included:
- Dr. Rémi Nguyen (Vice President, Chamber of Commerce & Industry France Vietnam – CCIFV), who presented Vietnam’s “Four Pillars” strategy, a reform drive that highlights the private sector as a key engine of national growth.
- Mr. Federico Vasoli (Vice Chair, ICHAM Vietnam / Managing Partner, dMTV Global), who outlined Vietnam’s robust macroeconomic outlook, noting projected GDP growth of around 7% in 2025 and strong public investment in infrastructure and energy.
