This initiative benefits around 40 children aged 3 to 5. The program is facilitated by Saigon Children’s Charity CIO (saigonchildren).

Constructed about 60 years ago, the original facility was once the commune’s only preschool and had deteriorated significantly. This project marks the ninth facility we have supported since 2015, benefiting almost 1,000 schoolchildren atdifferent levels. A key highlight is our collaborative approach with BASF customers and partners, reflecting our shared long-term commitment to Vietnam’s education development.”

Apart from the local authorities’ budget, the school has been rebuilt thanks to sponsorship from BASF, individual donors and other co-sponsors, including:

In addition, the new classrooms utilized products that meet Green Label Certifications sponsored by Nippon Paint Việt Nam. The decorative paints, using raw materials supplied by BASF, provide long-term benefits in terms of health and safety. The roof of the new facility uses the sandwich panels Proxy meeting EU standards sponsored by Phuong Nam Panel, also featuring ingredients from BASF resulting to energy efficiency.
