EuroCham Attended Policy Dialogue on Investment Promotion with European & American Partners 

On 4 November 2025, the Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) under the Ministry of Finance led a Policy Dialogue on Investment Promotion with representatives from the European and American business communities.  

Speakers shared an overview of Viet Nam’s socio-economic performance in the first nine months of 2025, highlighting positive signals in economic growth, macroeconomic stability, and ongoing improvements in the investment environment. FIA also presented recent trends in foreign direct investment (FDI), noting rising interest from international investors in renewable energy, high-tech industries, and sustainable manufacturing

Representing the European business community, Mr. Minh Nguyen, Vice-Chair of EuroCham Vietnam, highlighted the government’s recent reforms that have boosted investor confidence, particularly regarding administrative procedures, visa facilitation, and work-permit regulations. 

Mr. Nguyen reaffirmed EuroCham’s commitment to supporting Viet Nam in attracting high-quality and sustainable investment flows, while also extending an invitation to all stakeholders to join the upcoming Green Economy Forum (GEF 2025) in Hanoi, which will further strengthen public–private cooperation for a greener future. 

The dialogue gathered Mr. Do Van Su, Director General of the FIA; Mr. Vu Van Trung, Deputy Director General; and Mr. Pham Thanh Binh, Director of the Northern Investment Promotion, Information and Support Center, together with representatives from investment promotion agencies in the U.S., Germany, Japan, and France, as well as from business associations such as AmCham and USABC, and leading FDI enterprises.
