On the 4th of March, “Meeting with Partners from Europe 2019” was hosted by the American–European Market Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade, with the aim of strengthening connections between stakeholders in Vietnam-Europe relations. This was also an occasion to showcase Vietnam as an attractive investment destination for European enterprises and also promote “Made in Vietnam” products to the EU.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in recent years the economic and trade investment relations between Vietnam and European countries have continued to grow and develop. In the first 2 months of 2019, the EU market ranked second in terms of export turnover of Vietnam.
The event was attended by nearly 200 delegates, including representatives from Ministries, agencies and enterprises in Vietnam, as well as Ambassadors and Commercial Counselors from European Embassies and the EU Delegation.
On behalf of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), Co-Chairman Nicolas Audier attended the event together with Mr. Marko Moric, Chairman of the Central and Eastern Europe Chamber of Commerce (CEEC) and leaders of EuroCham members such as BBraun, Deep C, and Piaggio Vietnam. At the event, Mr. Nicolas Audier spoke to VTV24, sharing the perspectives of the European business community on trade and investment relations between EU and Vietnam.
