Upon returning to work after the Tet holiday, Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City, where EuroCham’s Ho Chi Minh City office is located, hosted a lion dance to welcome the new year.
“[As per] the cultural beliefs of Vietnam, and several other East Asian countries, a family or business visited by a lion dance performance will have good luck,” according to Voice of Vietnam.
EuroCham Vice-Chair Gabor Fluit (De Heus) served as a “lion feeder” along with numerous business leaders from companies located in Deutsches Haus.
