Human Resources and Training Sector Committee (HR&T SC) is among key Sector Committees under EuroCham. The HR&T SC represents EuroCham members’ voice on human resources and training issues in Vietnam. Since its establishment, HR&T SC have engaged with such key stakeholders as Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), International Labour Organisation (ILO), Vietnam Business Forum (VBF), as well as Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to not only bring Sector Committee’s concerns and recommendations to the Government but also raise the awareness and update to business community on outstanding changes related to labour legislations. The key interest of the HR&T SC consists of subleasing, work permits and immigration, overtime, probation, social security, etc.
Member companies are open to all international companies in Vietnam which face similar challenges and opportunities and share the same aim to support the quality and development of labour force in the country.
As of March 2017, HR&T SC comprise 17 members varying from experts in training, human resources to head of human resources from company members in various industries such as accounting and financing, pharmaceutical, consulting and lawyer, manufacturing, international schools, etc.
