Dear EuroCham Members,
In April 2014, the Joint Circular 13 (JC 13) was issued by the Ministry of Health (MoH), Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to allocate tasks and cooperation among regulatory agencies in food safety management.
It is a significant next step forward to avoid overlapping in food management by the various Ministries in various industries. We have received a number of positive feedbacks from our members, though some further clarification is still needed with regard to JC 13.
Therefore, the EuroCham Food, Agri and Aqua Business Sector Committee (FAASC) would like ask for other inputs from all members regarding concerns over JC13. Your inputs will be very useful for our position paper to the three relevant Ministries.
Please provide your inputs to Sector Committee Secretariat at email@example.com by CoB 8 August 2014
