Sector Committees
EuroCham Sector Committees provide effective forums for members to network, advocate and meet to discuss matters of particular interest and relevance to their sector. Each headed by an elected and experienced chair, the Sector Committees meet on a regular basis, whether in meetings or special business luncheons. Where possible, the chairs invite officials and representatives from local authorities, national government and local and foreign industry to present to the Sector Committee.
Sector Committees are integral to EuroCham’s lobbying and advocacy work and are central to our activities in Vietnam. Whether to simply raise awareness of the issues of importance to companies and sectors, increase networking opportunities, or to lobby the Vietnamese or European authorities, we encourage our members to get actively involved in our Sector Committees. Furthermore, if you do not see a Sector Committee that will suit you and your business needs, please suggest that we create a new one!

Asia-wide sector review of business environment
Beyond Vietnam, EuroCham is a participant in a regional programme with fellow European Business Organizations in Asia to strengthen the chamber’s capacity to address trade and regulatory issues through our Sector Committees and the publication of the annual EuroCham Trade Issues and Recommendations booklet. The programme provides a free-access website that reports on all major trade issues for European business in the Asian region, helping to identify horizontal trade issues and providing concrete recommendations to the local authorities. This website represents an invaluable resource of first-hand, up-to-date information for all stakeholders. Further information can be found at www.eboasia.eu.
