Vietnam Infrastructure Development Summit 2010 - Developing and financing the infrastructure needs of Asia’s fastest growing economy:

Vietnam’s economy has shown a strong rebound with the economy growing at 5,32% in 2009 and projected to grow well beyond 6,5% in 2010. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) is expected to increase by even 10% as compared to 2009. Foreign investors are particularly interested in infrastructure issues relating to transportation and logistics. The Vietnam Infrastructure Development Summit 2010 is a good opportunity to gain greater understanding of the hottest transportation infrastructure issues in Vietnam.

The speakers, led by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, will highlight current bottlenecks in the progress of road, rail and ports projects and the Vietnamese government’s efforts to resolve these issues. The summit will further provide ideas on best practice solutions to expedite project development through different partnership and financing models, key issues relating to risk management and the regulatory framework in Vietnam. A particular focus will be put on using Public – Private Partnerships as a sustainable strategy to raise capital for large infrastructure projects.

The Summit will be held:
Mon, Mar 22nd 8:00 am to Tue, Mar 23rd 4:30 pm
at the Melia Hotel Hanoi.
