GREEN-BIZ 2009, organized by EuroCham in partnership with VCCI, will be Vietnam’s premier event showcasing European solutions to Vietnam’s development challenges with particular focus on the energy, water, transport and construction sectors. The event will have both a conference and an exhibition, and is being shaped with a comprehensive and unique structure bringing together the key figures from the European and Vietnamese business communities, government, academia, consultancies and financing institutions to present possible options and develop common solutions for Vietnam. GREEN-BIZ 2009 will provide the different stakeholders with the ability to discuss partnering, business deals, licensing and funding needs, with a view to meeting Vietnam’s demands for both today and tomorrow while paving the way for a sustainable future.

EuroCham has been the voice of European business for the last 10 years. In partnership with VCCI, we can offer true market insight and combined knowledge of realistic business opportunities and business needs from the perspective of both foreign and Vietnamese companies as well as the expectations of the Vietnamese government. Both EuroCham and VCCI are highly regarded by the government and business community, which will ensure first-rate representation of relevant decision makers. The contacts available in both the domestic and international business community offer the possibility of unique match-making for firms searching for partners in Vietnam. In addition, to ensure a true policy insight, we will work closely with the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment (MONRE), the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), the Ministry of Finance (MOF), the State Pricing Committee (energy prices) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
